Steven Gerrard has been ruled unfit by Liverpool for the upcoming International England v Germany friendly. However, Fabio Capello is arguing for Gerrard to accept the England call-up despite Benitez having put his foot down for Gerrard to not take the pitch come Wednesday. My question is, why is Capello so concerned, it’s just a friendly, why risk further injury to Gerrard for nothing?
One man who still hasn’t received a call-up and is probably desperate for one is Michael Owen, who is on the outs with manager Joe Kinnear after ranting to the media about his lack of use by the Newcastle boss. Michael Owen has felt that he has been match fit for the past two weeks, but has still found trouble making it into Joe Kinnear’s Newcastle United.
Brazil’s own Ronaldo has made his claim as being a prime target by Manchester City come January.
While Robinho says he has been working to convince Brazil teammate Kaka to try his hand at the Premiership with the massive amount of money that Manchester City can kick out.
Real Madrid are looking to buy Didier Drogba, and I don’t see why Chelsea would want to keep him, as Drogba just doesn’t seem to have his head in the game anymore.
