Well, Chelsea are trying to get past their loss to Arsenal yesterday, with Scolari complaining about referees, and Peter Kenyon firmly stating that Didier Drogba won’t be going anywhere come January. But you know what, considering the latter, why wouldn’t you let Drogba go? He’s been useless when Drogba has actually taken the pitch, and then when he’s not injured and unavailable, he’s throwing coins at fans and getting himself suspended. Maybe the Drogba of two years ago was worth that trouble but no more.

And, has Phil Scolari watched the video from the match, considering he’s ripping into the ref for allowing Robin Van Persie’s first goal. Yes Van Pesie was in an offside position, but a Chelsea defender touched the ball before Van Persie did, therefore playing him back onside. Those are the rules, and it’s up to the ref’s interpretation during the match, as to how the situation should be judged. This time the official ruled Van Persie onside because of the contact made by a blue shirt, before Van Persie got the ball.

Maybe Scolari should stop complaining, and worry more about the fact that his side couldn’t offer up one decent chance after ninety minutes, at home no less. And the fact that Arsenal had to score Chelsea’s only goal with an own goal. Where’s the complaint about that? Chelsea played horribly considering how much possession they had. Worry about that before you worry about how the match official is calling the match.
